In October 2006, the University of Baltimore selected Io Consulting to assist them with their project to optimize the PeopleSoft Financial Aid module and guide them through the 2008 Financial Aid year rollover process. Io Consultants worked closely with UB staff throughout the project, collaborating closely on redesigning Financial Aid business processes and the Financial Aid Office’s use of 3C functionality. The campus was able to successfully validate the prior year setup and run the aid year roll over processes. All tables and major business processes were reviewed, including application processing, defining FA terms and budgets, packaging, disbursement, and Pell and Loan processing. As with all Io projects, there was a dedicated focus on providing UB with data validation tools, business process flows, training materials and knowledge transfer documentation.
