In mid-May, Sacramento State was one of the first California State University campuses to complete their production upgrade to HCM 8.9, with the HR applications going live at that time. The Sacramento team also had the distinction of completing their upgrade while migrating to a new data center.
Immediately after the upgrade, Io Consulting assisted Sacramento State with the go live for their portal project. Sacramento Employee Self-Service includes viewing and updating personal information as well as viewing compensation and benefits information. The portal implementation included the implementation of a single sign on for HR and FIS plus LDAP authentication, user profile synchronization from HR to Portal and Email synchronization from Portal to HR.
The upgrade and the portal go-lives were important precursors to the SA go lives that began this past summer in Sacramento.
In July ’06 Course Catalog kicked off the start of the Campus Solution implementation. In September ’06 both the fall Class Schedule and Recruiting went live to be followed shortly by the Admissions go-live in October ’06."
