On December 16, 2006, Pepperdine University successfully went live on PeopleSoft HCM version 8.9. This is the first in a series of ‘go live’ milestones, which includes the following HR modules: Position Management, Workforce Administration, Benefits Administration, and Payroll North America. The first payroll run was completed on January 2, 2007. Io Consulting and the Pepperdine HR project team worked closely together to complete a comprehensive project that paralleled a PeopleSoft Finance implementation. After two months of payroll processing in production, the Pepperdine payroll department is now processing all aspects of payroll with no support. The campus is in the process of rolling out Commitment Accounting and a comprehensive reporting solution for Finance and Human Resources. Pepperdine is looking forward to completing its implementation of PeopleSoft Human Resources Time & Labor in the fall of 2007 and then focusing on a series of Campus Solution projects over the next several months.
